CHINS/DCS Defense

Has DCS or CPS become involved with your family? If so, and your child's needs or your parental rights are at risk, it's crucial to seek legal advice. The juvenile court system is unique, so consulting an experienced attorney, such as Randall Parr, is essential to protect your family.

Criminal Defense

Facing criminal charges? Know your rights. Indianapolis criminal defense attorney Randall Parr has decades of experience handling various cases, from minor offenses to serious felonies. He'll fight to protect your rights and achieve the best possible outcome.

Juvenile Criminal Defense

The juvenile justice system is distinct from adult criminal court. Even though juvenile cases aren't criminal, a "true finding" can have serious consequences. If your child has been arrested, consult juvenile defense attorney Randall Parr.

Family Law

Are you filing for divorce, establishing paternity, fighting for child support, or trying to get custody of your child? Dealing with family issues is never easy. It can be emotionally challenging–after all, you’re dealing with the separation of lives, often involving children. At times you might feel alone. But giving your child the best chance to succeed is the right thing to do, and an experienced family law attorney can play an important part in achieving that goal.

Estate and Probate

You have worked hard throughout your life. When the time comes for your property to transfer to the next generation, make sure a solid plan is in place. Additionally, you might discover that a recently-deceased loved one’s wishes are not being administered properly. Make sure that your interests are protected.

My Approach

I’ve operated as a sole-practitioner almost all of my legal career.  This significantly benefits clients because it means I do not answer to anybody else–you and your case are my top and only priority.  Additionally, I maintain a general practice.  Cases can draw on multiple different areas of the law, and having a lawyer with in-depth but broad experience may lead to better representation and a more efficient and positive outcome of your case.

My Story

Born and raised in Indianapolis, I graduated from the Indiana University School of Law at Indianapolis in 1981, after attending Indiana University-Bloomington for my undergraduate studies where I majored in English, Persuasive Speaking, and Political Science entwined with international economic considerations.

Following graduation from law school, I practiced in two smaller firms for a couple years before realizing my personality much better suited being my own boss.I never looked back.  A few years ago I also started teaching high school classes in government, economics, U.S. and world history, and important U.S. Supreme Court opinions.  It is beyond fulfilling being able to help the next generation develop critical thinking skills necessary to be productive members of society.
